Welcome to iGamer. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our gaming companion network.

We collect only the personal data that is necessary to provide our services. This includes:

•Identity Data: Username, display name, gender, age, profile picture.
•Contact Data: Email address, Discord username.
•Location & Language: City, town/area, country, languages spoken.
•Gaming Data: Game preferences (e.g. Valorant, GTA 5), ranks, connected gaming accounts, play styles, and preferred gaming time/schedules.
•Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and usage logs.

Under the DPDP Act, your data is processed only for lawful purposes for which you have given your explicit consent. We use your data to:

• Create and manage your iGamer account.
• Match you with compatible gamers and build squads.
• Send you platform notifications and updates.
• Ensure platform security and prevent toxic behavior or fraud.

Note: You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time through your account settings. However, because iGamer is inherently a data-driven platform designed to share gaming profiles for matchmaking, withdrawing your consent will result in the immediate deletion of your account and all associated data.

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with trusted Data Processors (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics) who are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and DPDP compliance requirements. We implement robust cybersecurity measures, including encryption and access controls, to prevent data breaches.

In accordance with the DPDP Act, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

•Right to Information: You can request a summary of the personal data we process and the identities of any Data Fiduciaries/Processors we share it with.
•Right to Correction & Erasure: You can update inaccurate data or request the deletion of your data when it is no longer needed.
•Right of Grievance Redressal: You can easily register grievances regarding data processing.
•Right to Nominate: You can nominate any other individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
